Hi there I have just built a 325i non vanos turbo I have brought a lot of the stuff of other people but is all together and running just need to get exhaust made and couple little bits .one issue I have is tht I brought the engine and loom of someone that was running turbo set up near 350bhp and it had standard ecu with a chip in it and ive changed the set up ie bottom mount turbo cause they had top mount and changed the turbo from ct26 to t3/t4 but it starts but I think its over fueling a lot cause it will idle fine but soon as you touch throttle it trys to die then slowly picks up but if you keep revs up it fine but lot of black fuel smoke lol ive done this on quite a buget and a m saveing for exhaust at mo but im nit sure how the mapping works on the set up it on?? There proberly a simple answer but im not sure can someone please help me many thanks

Unfortunately I doubt there will be a simple answer to this.
    Need a bit more info...
Presumably you've retained the MAF sensor (?) if you're running the standard ECU with a 'chip'
Original injectors? - Adjustable Fuel pressure regulator?
Have you modified any of the engine internals? I.E. lowering the compression ratio with different pistons or a thicker head gasket?
