I have sorn my BMW compact and buying 2.8 engine and before I fit will be adding a turbo being easier to do now while engine is out.

I got the basic idea i.e fit manifold, turbo, oil pipes, and inter cooler. I have read and searched many threads but cannot find answers to some basic questions.

I will be running low boost for now and then will work on extra upgrades after?

My problem is do I just stick the outlet from the inter cooler straight into the induction kit with stock sensors.

More to my confusion is the turbo unit. I will be using a t3/t4 hybrid with internal waste gate. Can I add a boost control to any turbo even if the turbo is internally set?

Where do I pipe the smaller pipes to control boost?

Am I on the right track?
