thanks for the manifild link JH, much apreciated!

im looking at a t04 turbo, will std injectors and a piggy pack unit be ok with this, im also gonna add a HP pump, presuming the standard one cant cope with the extra demand.
and any "rough" ideas on power from a t04 with std injectors please guys? or should i say a safe ammount of power before i destroy the weakest parts.
    cheers
to you all for you help.
With a T04 turbo and a piggyback ecu is all good but you will need larger injectors as you dont want to run the oe ones at 100% duty as they will fail and cause problems and ive heard storys of 300350 on standard internals but it all depends on how good your mapping is

Interesting stuff, I'm looking at the same sort of thing with a huge list items to buy! I really wouldn't risk using the standard injectors unless your looking for less than 270bhp.

If your looking at getting a Garrett T04e/T04R they are huge. Will be creating lots of power. If your only looking to use standard injectors and going for a lower power then the turbo won't even spool. A smaller turbo which will be constantly "spooling" will mean a much more fun car!

What do you think to this manifold: I need an external wasteage with my turbo:

Don't have a clue about the volvo turbo's. Get an evo intercooler they are dirt cheap used, thats what I've just bought. Then just modify the bumper etc to make it fit (well force it) haha.

thanks jackharding, ill look for evo intercoolers.........what turbo set-up are you looking at? and what sort of power? as for standard injectors, i hear some ford and volvo injectors fit and are around 35-42 lb ones? thses should help with increase with the hp fuel pump. if needed , ill look into a head gasket to lower the comp.

    cheers

for a manifold.............speak to hamadhayyat on the forum, hes done his own one and i asked if her would build another manifold and he said he would, might be a good option as this guy is running a turbo set-up on his bmw with home made manifold.

Have a look at my thead for my turbo spec:

Turbo - tad larger than a garrett gt30
42lb denso injectors with bosch seals
0.140 mls headgasket & ARP studs
    Megasquirt system for tuning

Anything else you need to know?

Your meant to use the ford/Bosch injectors but I just went with the deno's because they were so cheap (and without checking). So will have to change the seals as they won't fit into my injector rail (but thats only £10-£13 on seals)
