As above, has anyone on the forum or know any one who had modified the LHD exhaust manifold to fit a RHD M50 e30?

I have seen people mention this but havent seen any made.

What im wondering is on the lhd car it would be mounted on the bottom which would allow the 2 pipes from the exhaust match up with the manifold am i right?

But on right hand drive the turbo would be mounted on top. So manifold would need to have pipes weld to it to reach the exhaust down pipes?

Would it just be a matter of trial and error, like bolt manifold up to engine and do some mock ups to see which way it will fit ?

The other question is? Is the an option of using ur orginal manifolds to hold a turbo?

Any pictures of a turbo exhaust manifold that fits an m50'd e30 would be very helpful.

the lhd manifold will attempt to put the turbo inside the valve cover and head as the angle of the flange is no good,
With great challenges comes great engineering.

You will have to cut & fabricate the manifold so that the flange faces downhill. It will need fitting then adjusting in situ.

You can turn the manifold upside down then have a like pipe made so the turbo will sit at the front where washer bottle is
Have some picks and a kit some where
