    i thought all m52's were mag alloy only M engines had cast blocks...
    330i sport a big chunk of berlin...

    That's what I thought. .. 323 and 325 are the same motors like I said just different maps and inlet/ cat restrictions

    if you want more power from a 323i do the M50 manni swap, BBTB and a good remap.
    you will see over 200bhp.

    or just sell it and get a 328i, then do the same mods for around 250bhp.

    Got a 323 because thats the most I'm willing to pay for insurance right now.. does the manifold fit? I heard there was something fouling it, and whats a bbtb?

    stick an M54 330 internals and crank in one...i can never see the point tho its that cheap to buy a 330 these days unless ya wanna tell porkies on the insurance and have a wolf in sheeps clothing...

    How much would I be looking for a decent 330 motor? And is it a straight swap?
