    I was wondering could i use the turbo kit out of a diesel car to use on my 1.9 lump. I have a 1995 306 d-turbo sitting in the yard all i want to know is can i take the turbo off it and stick it in the BMW. Cheers

    i suppose anything is possible.
    you would need to get new manifolds fabricated to start with.
    its no plug and play job.
    what i've felt,what i've known
    never shined through in what i've shown.

    Thanks for the reply. I can get a stainless steel manifold made for £150. the full piping kit is 70 quid. Just thinking for 30bhp it is a cheaper option than an ebay kit. I have the turbo and intercooler apart from the manifold is that all i would need? cheers

    you would also need uprated injectors and a new ecu thats easily programmable...then at least half a day with a tuner who can adjust parameters on the fly

    so far i have got the turbo and intercooler and got the new piping kit and boost pressure valve ans have sourced a tuner that will set parimeters. just want to know now what ecu will work in relation to my car and where do i get the upgraded injectors

    if your planning on using the pug intercooler you'll be spending a lot of time making adaptors for it, it'll be cheaper for you to buy a universal one off the bay
