    hi

    sorry for being such ignorant but i do not now anything about engine, i have a standard e36 318is and i would like to fit a turbo to it. my question is what will i need apart of the turbo of course maybe some intercooler and maybe a chip i already bought a simota air filter but have not installed it yet. i do not need big bhp power maybe 250bhp cause the car is used daily.

    i live in tha maltese islands

    Are you doing this all yourself or are you just pricing up the bits and bobs?
    Are you just turboing for the sake of turboing or is it for some sort of race series?
    Why not put in an m50 or m52 engine in instead?

    There is also a forced induction section on this forum that may give better help

    no i just buy the bits and my mechanic will do the job .

    as for the speed i just want to when i put my gas pedal down i find power but no races.

    GRP/Carbon fabricator
    iso 5817/asme9 Welder
    joiner/carpenter
    And level 2 customer service
    It would be spiteful to put a jelly fish in a trifle
