Gracenote DB Updates

Has anyone with the latest iDrive with hard drive storage had their Gracenote database updated. I'm interested in knowing what I have to do, roughly how much I'll have to pay (I'm guessing it's not free) and how often updates will be available as, by its nature, it is almost always out of date.
