    Hi guys what are my speaker upgrade options for my 320d as they seem flat want a bit more bass my bmw x3 i had the speakers in that were amazing.

    Gladen Audio, MB quart and the more expensive Bavsound (in the US) do direct-fit speakers for the E46. You could also go for Alpine SPR-60c for the fronts, but it means using adapters, and you may have to cut a hole in the metal of the door to allow the magnet room to move. Other options to improve sound include fitting baffles and using sound-deadening material on the door cards.

    Do a search as there is a lot of info out there.

    I can never understand audio upgrades,is the factory radio speakers not any good????.
    How loud is loud enough??.

    Its not the loudness the qaulity i find in the e90 is really bad just had a bmw x3 and the system in that was amazing real qaulity i dont see why they cant use the same throughout the ranges
