    Hi guys,

had the above message flash up on dash today, so called the local dealer as i was passing by it, and picked up a spare parking light bulb.

popped the bonnet open to have a quick look to see if i could fit it there and then, but as was in a rush, decided to pop into service desk to ask the guys for a diagram on how/where the bulb fits.

i got told its a bumper off job, just to change the parking light?! and to rub salt into the wounds, they wanted £145 for the privilege.

needless to say, i didnt take them up on their kind offer and instead have come to the forum to try and find a solution. Searching through the threads i cant find anything car specific, so my question is, is it really a bumper off job, or can i get the headlight fixture out without the need for this?

looking at this http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/E6...non_headlight/ hasnt made any wiser on the matter, except i now know where the bulb fits.

obviously with it being a 750, there is an airbox directly behind each light, so that makes things a bit tight to work around the back of the headlight...

any help much appreciated on this matter.

    thanks in advance.

If yours a post 05 e65 model then unfortunaltey it's a bumper off job.
Most Indy will do the job for half of what of BMW charges.

did anyone see this video, which shows how to replace the parking lights

you could use OEM lights instead of the LEDs
