Does anyone else's idrive call turning off the traction control "activate dtc"??
The DTC symbol on the centre console is also unlit unless you turn the traction off which suggests that you are activating it by turning it off??? If you know what I mean!
No problem, just wondering if it does that on everyones??

The warning of "activate dtc" when you switch it off is just the car telling you to put it back on lol
The warning light is similar, it's warning you that the traction is off, becuase that means the car will explode in 7 minutes and BMW don't want you to have any fun depsite fitting the car with a 4.5 V8...

It's the other way round! You activate it to switch it off and then when it's off you have to de-activate it to turn it on. If BMW didn't want me to have any fun with this car they severely ballsed up!Originally Posted by Sphinx
