Afternoon Bimmerforums :thumbsup
Hopefully being new to this forum stuff and this site I will be treated gently and get my issues sorted.
Here goes, firstly let me apologise for non technical talk.
Purchase of a 58 330d Auto new shape (245bhp), 17" wheels which looked kerbed etc prior to refurb by STRATSTONE BMW in Tyneside.
Noticed after attending Malton Big Breakfast that weekend that there seemed to be a buzzing at 70-80 and overtaking. took it back and new tyres (conti 225-45 RTF) fitted onto new alloys all round. Wheels were balanced and alignment checked.
STILL THERE. took it back and they fitted new engine mounts and rear diff.
STILL THERE. Took it to Kwik-Fit and they re-balanced the wheels as they said they were out.
STILL THERE.
I will attempt to describe it. Hit 55 steering wheel wobbles as if its a balance issue. Upto 60 better, but beyond 60 to 70 and after 80 it feels like i get a wave of vibrations building up and then coming throught the seat, arms feet and then fades. I pulled the sun visor down and you can see it still then wobble and get worse until it dies away. Soooooooooo anoying as i have had 4 BMW's and not one was like this. They were all solid no matter what speed. emailed BMW and asked for them to comment as under the sale of goods, "Lemon Law2, my entilement is return/refund/change/repair. BMW have been fantastic, but I bet they are getting sick now. such a new car why am I getting this??
PLEASE forum help I am loosing faith. God I wish i had my 320d 55 plate back!!!!:frown
