Your best bet would be to ring emaps and see what they say.
But generally, no it uses the same ECU, and they re program the map to account for Uk fuel and advance the timing a little in certain areas of the curve.
    I would reckon 15hp gain on 318i
    Cost approx - £250
15 bhp, eh? That would be pretty tasty indeed, I fancy a bit of that. And the good news is that I just got the new V5 for my old car thru today, which means it's FINALLY ready to be sold. Yee-ha! Think I'll look into this. I just want to be sure I don't screw anything up, because the LPG has been going so well.

Just checked emaps and you're about right, it says on my engine, 14 bhp and 12 torques. I've sent them an email, but it says I won't get a reply til mid-month, so I'll see what happens twixt now and then, see how I feel, and more importantly, what they say about the LPG.

It's fine to remap a car with LPG. A little more advance would make good use of the higher octane rating.

Excellent stuff, Ian, nice one there.

Just one question; what is advance?

    Hello Gordon

Thanks for the enquiry and sorry for the late reply. I hope you got the auto
out of office reply advising we were closed for a couple of weeks on annual
    leave.

Your car would need a remap which is applied to the car via the diagnostic
socket so we need to be with the car. As you are in Scotland we don't cover
your area due to the distance and travel costs.

    Sorry about that.

    Kind Regards,

    Simon
