5GT 530d driver here. From what I see on the roads and on here I am somewhat of a rarity!

Great car to drive, had it about 5 months and 7700 miles. Average mpg 33 (low but I do drive it hard!)

The space inside is fantastic, even behind me (6' 4") there is room for a tall adult, and for the kids it's like being in a limo (their words....)

Downside - the handling is not great, can be a little skittish on the bumps - or I may just be going to fast - but as a motorway cruiser it's awesome.

Lets hope there are a few more of us!!

I'm currently driving a 530GT as a courteous car,and what a car! I do have to agree I not seen any others on the road in the week that I've been driving it but it does get some looks as the interior is like very eye catching with that orange glow thing going on! and massive screen the only down side is parking it can be tricky as I find it enormous

welcome mate..glad you enjoy your purchase....errmmm ... trying to find something positive about the looks of the gt and struggling lol what a fugly looking car, turns heads though.
youve got to admit they ruined the 5series name by messing about with the rear end and making it look awful.

Agreed - you have to be careful where you park, it does 'fill' the space!!
