    Hi there, I have been following for a while.
    I own an 2004 e46 M3 and just purchased a 850 CSI. The 8 series needs some work as the previous owner made some modifications, so just trying to get it back to original with the help from fellow forum members.

    Good evening everybody.

    Name's Ellis, I'm from Betws y Coed in North Wales and six weeks ago I bought my first ever BMW - a 2002 E46 Convertible with a genuine 68k miles.

    It's my first BMW so I'm going to need your wisdom and knowledge, please.

    Hi

    i am new to here but i have recently purchased BMW E46 318ti 2l only last sunday which i knew needed some work doing but was at a good price and i have wanted this type of car for many years so i couldnt resist and from searching for many things on the net your forum comes up each time and i see that your forum answers any questions with great feedback, so i wanted your advice on the below 2 question if possible;

    1) the engine management light is on and the issue is when the revs are low its sound like it is losing pressure underneath the front of the car but over 2k revs it drive fine, any ideas what this could be? (i was think may be manifold or head gasket?)

    2) the rear wiper is not working but when i try to use it the motor is make the noise like it is trying to work just that the wiper doesnt move, could this be a fuse #9as yet to check) or is the motor broken?

    thanks in advance for your help?

    New to the world of bmw ownership have just purchased a 2009 320d se but have not had the pleasure of driving it yet, still recovering from been involved in a hit and run accident while training on my bicycle.
    Hope to post and get more info about my new pride and joy.
