Hi, Guys (& Gals if there are any),

Just bought an E31 1997 4.4ci from a friend, its in need of quite a bit of TLC.

No doubt i'll be asking some dumb questions at times but hoping to learn as quick as i can.

    Thanks in advance

    Gary

    Hi everyone

Just purchased my first BM, an E34 525i SE Tourer, 1992 grey metallic, what a beauty! For a 19 year old car with 160k I am astonished at how well she drives, so much better than my Volvo 850 T5, a joy. Had great fun repairing left and right boot wiring looms, all 24 wires were showing bare metal and some were even fused together, but all sorted now!

Have already found some great info on here, and hope to be able to input as well!

    Cheers

Hi everyone, Im Dave. Just got myself a beautiful E36 M3 Evo and thought this a great place to start gathering info for its restoration (not that it needs to much!) and hopefully help others along the way with what I learn. Looking forward to it.

Hello folks. Have had our E46 316ti Compact for three years now. Done a fair few jobs on it, the most recent being adjusting the handbrake and replacing the driver's side window regulator. My experience is that it's hard to find Compact-specific content on the Net so am very happy to share my experiences with running, maintenance and repair stuff.

    Hi fellow bimmers!

I'm new here too. Absolutely love BMWs, was caught up with them as soon as I drove one for the first time. Fantastic cars!

Looks like you've got a great forum going here!
Most people have no concept of how an automatic transmission works, yet they know how to drive a car. You don't have to study physics to understand the laws of motion to drive a car. You don't have to understand any of this stuff to use Macintosh.
