Hello all. I joined a few years ago when I was looking into buying a 330XD Touring - but I bought a Passat V6 Tdi 4Motion instead..! However, its time for a change and I still want a 330XD so I'm back again to learn more and hopefully be in a position to buy knowing what to look out for. If anyone has a left hand drive one for sale please get in touch. Merry Christmas and happy new year!

Been lurking for a little while, found really helpful hints and tips. Purchased a what I thought a pretty decent 2003 318, BMW specialist seems to think Ive bought a bag of nails, when he did a diagnostic, car has been neglected by previous owners maintenance wise. I'm pretty switched on and am hopeful that with a little tlc and repair it will be a decent car, especially with the wealth of information I have already found here.

Hi all. I'm new to the site and just brought an E36 316i. I Did have an E36 325i a few years ago but I couldn't afford to run him. (Yes, I said him. For me Beemers behave like men.) This one came up at a bargain of 400 quid. The rust is starting to set in but once the weather brightens up I'll get it sorted. Here he be.

Hey, im new to posting on threads but at the age of 14 i purchased my first bmw an e21 320i now 36 bmw's later now on my 5 th bmw e30 325i (which are biggest love) iv turned my hobby time into restoring german classics, about to start restoring the zinnobar red convertible tomorrow as i do get joy from doing these cars the right way as so many dont, fingers crossed i get this one finished in 3 weeks...... full hood replacement, full interior restoration, full service including cam belt water pump etc new gaskets, new brake lines possibly found new zinnobar front wings, this should be a real nice original when done (and oh those extra immobiliser locks :( sadly got to stay)
