    Evening all,

I've been lurking for a bit but thought I'd better say hello before starting to ask for help

My daily drive is a very leggy E38 728i but I've got a few other things from Bavaria and Buchloe for the weekends

    Cheers,
    Bryn.

    Thanks Craig.

E30 wise I'd go for a 325i coupe (Sport if poss) or Cabriolet. Parts are cheap and readily available and they are nice and easy to work on, plus great fun to drive and still quick enough even by today's standards. I'm no mechanic and I've always worked on my own with no problem. Depends what kind of work you want to do really - they can rot badly and I know from bitter experience how time consuming and costly this is to put right so I'd avoid any basket cases. My 325i Sport owes my 5 figures because of that type of work
Kevin has a nice 325i Coupe project so he might want to add something.

Also any half decent 318is would be worth looking at.

    Cheers,
    Bryn.
