    Hi all.

I'm new to this forum but not to forums in general. Along with another member on here (Crowman, you getting the link here ) we are the admins for a Subaru forum, namely South East Scoobies.

Anyhow, enough of that. I am the happy owner of a 2005 E46 M3 Coupe with all the usual whistles and bells. And I absolutely love it . It may not be as fast as the Scoob by any stretch (scoob is 413bhp & 405 ft/lb) but that was never the reason for getting it, I wanted something a little classier that still had plenty of grunt out of the box, the choice was a natural one.

I'll get round to posting some pics and some more details sooner rather than later and look forward to finding out about the things I can do with the M3 from you guys.

    Cheers for now

    Worzel

I'm a member of most of the Scooby forums, including SIDC so you more than likely have seen around there.

Cheers for the welcome guys, I'll take some time to have a look around the site this afternoon. First glance, it looks like you are a friendly bunch

It's pretty quick thats for sure. Properly set up for fast road use too, with corner weighted & fully adjustable Cusco Zero 2 Coilovers. So it sticks like the proverbial to a blanket. Some of the lads on our site have well over 500bhp, a couple have 600bhp+ and there are 3 complete builds in progress that range from 600 - 800bhp. Thats proper hardcore.

In all honesty, mine is set up to go much further if I want to but I love it where it is, it's still really drivable / usable. Lots of people who go past 450bhp say they begin to get pretty scary sometimes.

I am looking forward to start tinkering with the M3 at some point later this year though and getting that to about 400bhp (which I believe is quite easy with the E46) and having some serious fun in that. I am off to the ring in the scoob in May but will be taking the M3 next year without doubt.

Are there ring trips arranged on this forum?

Again, thanks for the welcome guys, much appreciated, I can see I'm going to enjoy my time here.
