    I never got round to making an intro when I first joined but didn't have any obligatory pics to hand anyway, but now I have after just giving her a wash.

    In case you missed the finer details dotted around in my previous posts :

    * Late 2004 330Cd M Sport 6 speed manual with black heated leather interior.
    * 113k when I bought her 2 months ago
    * FBMWSH (FWIW.. )
    * De-swirlied
    * 4 previous owners
    * 12 months ticket and a months rent when I bought her and I paid £7450 from a private seller

    Piccies -

    I'll be completely honest, it nearly feckin killed me. In my younger days I could whip round a car in no time and actually quite enjoyed cleaning them as well, but now I'm older I can honestly say I hate doing it. They look nice when done but you pay for it physically.

    Not sure why everyone raves about those wash mitts either. I used my new lambs wool one for the first time today and they are a pain in the arse to use. With your hand inside them it's just not a natural movement when washing your car and they become really heavy when wet as well that you get arm ache pretty quickly. In the end I took my hand out of it and used it more like a normal sponge.

    They're probably fine if you keep your car's paintwork like an ice rink with tons of polish but they are hopeless for "scrubbing" at any stubborn bits of crud stuck to the paintwork.

    I now officially hate MV2 wheels as well - what a feckin 'mare these are to clean . Nearly as awkward and annoying to do as the multi-spoke alloys on the Mondeo STs.

    Worth all your efforts imo

    Yeh feel your pain with the alloys, I have them too.
    Is to just me or do the two door e46s look smaller than the four door ones? I know ther not just looks it.

    The front doors on yours won't be as long in order to accommodate the rear doors. That's always the way with coupes - the doors are like 20ft long which is always fun in tight parking spaces...
