    Hi all,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Chris and I have recently purchased a very lovely 2002 blue 320d Touring. Full grey leather, wood trim. Lovely machine. This is my fourth touring over the years - 2 E30's (silver 320 and green 316), 1 E36 (dark purple 318) and now this one, which is the best by far. I'm well impressed with the fuel consumption. The only issue I have is with the rear wash/wipe not working but I'm going to look at that in a day or two for seizing.
The only thing I've added is a usb/sd adapter plugged into the CD changer socket on the stereo which is great, and the only other thing I'm thinking of are MV1 alloys - when the wallet will allow
I have another BMW, for those who may be interested in bikes - a 2006 K1200s in blue and white...mmmmm....lovvvveerrlllyyyy

    I look forward to chatting.

    Hi Chris and welcome aboard

Take a read of Tefals Sticky on the E46 diesel engine for all your preventative maintenance.

Oh and pics of both your BMs are a must

Hi & Welcome fellow biker, although not into BMW bikes as could never afford them in the 1st place, and the twins I have ridden felt like tractor's (GS 1150 & 1200).

I currently have 2 bikes, a 2003 aprilia ETV1000 Caponord, my work horse & a 1990 ZZ-R1100 when I want to s**t myself (future classic and similar to your K1200s for munching the miles)

Thanks for all your welcomes folks. Steve, two nice bikes you got there. I used to have an Aprilia Falco and loved it but it got to be a bit unreliable and the missus hated being on the back. I looked at a few bikes after the Falco, one of them being the Caponord but we settled on the K1200. I'll post some pics soon.
