    Hi all,

Just joined up to get some feedback on looking to buy an E46. Was set on a 330d, but reading a few threads, it seems that the petrol wins over. Which is fine with me.

I am looking on quite a tight budget, around 4-5.5k so I am expecting one at the higher miles end. 330ci hopefully, or a touring.

Had a look around for a buying guide, and unless its somewhere I have missed, can anyone point me in the direction of what to look out for?

Being 20, I have considered it, but have you done an insurance quote?

I was also thinking of maybe a 325, but the money you'd save on insurance (£100) doesnt seem much..

Yeah I know what you mean about insurance, what a joke mate, especially at your age... still a nice 330ci with proper milage (<80k) would be more than acceptable

I actually have that one book marked, spotted it this morning on my daily search lol.

My friend has a E36 323 which is what has persuaded me to look into a BMW, big jump from a Saxo. The fun weekend times are over though, and it just annoys me on any journeys longer than 3 miles.
