Bearing in mind your budget i think you should go for a 6 cylinder 320i. Reason why is that i owed the 318is and its a really good car but there is a problem with it. It has 4 cylinders. The 320 has more bite and i tell ya it is a lot better when cruising. I know this cos after owing a 318is i went and bought a 323i and i loved that car. I still think should have gone for the 328i but for insurance purposes got a 323i. So with this in mind i reecomend a 320i. Just my opinion.
    My BMW history= E36 318IS, 323I,Mini Cooper, E46 320 D SE and now E39 530D. awesome

it doesnt, by the look of it. Look on the pics on the inside and normally you can see the control panel for the A/C and in those you can't

just got one myself . mine is pretty standard (no air con anolouge clock cloth seats no fogs , grey lower bumper & skirts . but will be modding as i can afford , want to colour code the bottoms of the bumpers (mine is black non metallic so shoulnt be too bad a job ) parts for these are pretty reasonable now new or second hand so i wouldnt worry if it is a lower spec car too much if it is a good one , just add on the bits u want after

Yeh thats what im thinking, i just love the gadgets and are use to having onboard computer and ecc.

No big deal but visually with some money it can look how I want it but will not have the OBC or A/C.

Ill keep thinking about it and see if I can find any other E36 Coupes or Saloon within my bidget and range etc. But the one I linked to is the only one so far

Yeah I'm thinking about just biting the bullet & going for it etc. Could you get some pictures if your 318is? Do the windows go down half an inch when you open the door & go back when the door is shut? What other features do these have?
