    Hi,

I am new to the forum and to BMW ownership.i have recently purchased a 2009 120d se and need three new tyres, I have priced the run flat tyres and have decided to try non run flats and buy a spare, any idea where I can get a lightweight spare for the 120 ?

    Thanks

Try ebay for a spare steel wheel, have you got space in the boot to carry it?

Just check it fits over the brakes, I can't remember what the smallest wheel size is the E87, if think it is 16" and Quarry Motors will sell you one for £50, the E60 is a pain because you need a 17" space saver and they are as rare a rocking horse poo.

There will be space, having no spare is not legal in some countries so BMW have designed the car with that in mind
