    Hi All,

I've recently acquired an '01 318Ci and have to say I'm loving it

We've another BM in the house (my wife's 1-series company car) and I've had a 320iSE in the past - so not entirely new to the marque, but very new to the forum.

My car is Titan Silver, has a FSH, completely clean inside and out (inc underneath) although at some stage has had the rear parcel shelf replaced (it's dark blue so doesn't quite match the black leather) - why I'm not sure (any ideas?)

Well, I'm off for a search around now to see if I can find any help with de-sensitising a jumping CD changer and blocked driver-side washer jet.

Looking forward to posting and hopefully I too can offer some valuable input.

    Welcome to the forum BeemMeUp.

Sorry to be the possible bearer of bad news ..... If you have a 6 CD in the boot, and it keeps jumping on anything other than very smooth road, it may turn out you will have to learn to live with it.

This drove me nuts when I first got my car about 3 months ago, but it's something I've now accepted (sort of!) (as it seems to be fitted correctly, all mounts okay, etc, etc). Only alternative seems to get an Ipod connection instead, which I'm still looking into doing.

Good luck with it anyway and enjoy your new car. If you do figure out how to stop it jumping, let me know
