Hi, I thought I would introduce myself to the forum.
I'm from North West London and as of 31/03/11 I became a first time BMW owner.

I had always kept an eye on the BMW range with early interests in E34 especially after the M5 and Alpina B10 Bi-turbo were released to the world. Fair enough, neither of these 2 were in my price range and as a result my interest had been as a voyeur only.

As my circumstances have changed in recent years and time for a change I started my search in earnest one for a replacement car and 2 for a BMW.

I had considered the 3 series with either an E46 coupé, M3 or Alpina B3s being the primary choices or the 5 series with an end of run Champagne, Champagne II or Aegean Sports being the choices here.

I decided with other people to consider that a E39 would be a wiser choice with my choices being expanded to include the Alpina B10.

I had missed out on a few cars, these being Aegean Blue Sports Editions 530D when I came across one at a dealer in North London, having never actually driven one I decided to pay a visit to have a look. I was not able to test drive that particular car but the dealer did have a E60 530i SE for sale, which up until then had not seriously considered (also at a similar price to the E39)

To say the least I was so impressed with the drive and feel of the car, my search was now for exclusively the E60

I joined a few forums and started looking among the classifieds when I found one car which the owner had removed from sale after so many let downs. I messaged him and discussions began.

What had attracted me was the fully loaded vehicle in my preferred interior and exterior colour with the Sat Nav bluetooth package.

So after a trip up North a test drive and a long once over with the car, a deal was struck and began my ownership of a BMW with a 4 pleasurable hours driving back south in utter comfort with memory seats, dual zone climate etc.

    The vehicle, oh yes it's a E60 545i SE
