Evening all New to BMW ownership new to forum
Got a X5 3.0 diesel great motor loads of extras. However am havin afew fuel problems. I have just changed Fuel filter and am waiting on batt to charge so may have fixed problem. Doesnt start dash shows "Fuel injection system" or starts only revs to half .

I think the lift pump could be playing up Am i right is saying it is a torpedo inline situated underneath the vehicle. I believe these pumps are problamtic especially in cold weather.
Does anyone know exactly where the lift pump is situated I dont want to have to strip all the underside if no need.

    Welcome mate

Your best bet is to post a thread in the X5 Technical Section - http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/f77/

Have a look at the forum rules in the link below my post and title your thread in the above section correctly, e.g. 2003 E53 X5 3.0D - Fuel Problem, won't start and someone will be along to help you
