hi guys im new here my names chris im 27 from sutton in surrey .
i currently have a nissan skyline gtr had quite alot of motors over the years but miss my bm's the most ,

so now im thinking i must be getting older as im really loving the look of a e46 330d touring all m sported up etc , or even a 330 petrol ?

, and i was wondering how reliable they are ?

    which one is faster?

is the diesel really that much better on mpg than the petrol?

which one can i get more from from tuning?

i was planning on modding it a little mainly stage 1 but who knows if the future holds uprated turbos lol , once modded how reliable are they ?

in comparison to a skyline bmw are in a different league of reliableality ( sorry about my spelling)

    any help much appriciated guys

    Hi Bigchris,welcome to Bimmerforums.co.uk............

If you post your questions up in general BMW discussions then you'll get more answers than in this section....

Personally I would go for the petrol over the diesel however taking both for a drive is your best bet

    Hello mate, welcome to bimmerforums.

My friend Keith owns skylineowners.com and competes in drift tournaments and i have quite a few friends with them. Popular cars.

330d is a rapid car and reacts well to a remap.

    I beleive a remapped 330d will be quicker than a 330.

Good to have you on board.
