Just bought a 2002 330 Convertible. Very low mileage (28K) and -judging from the condition - seems to have been a third/weekend car.

Oh and before you all tell me of all the problems that can happen on a very low mileage car that is 7 years old:

    (a) I had a 2002 Boxster 3.2 S with 3000 miles on it when I bought it in 2005- nothing ever broke

    (b) It does have a very comprehensive warranty (NOT Tesco or Warranty Direct etc.)

    (c) You can all have a good laugh if something major breaks and the warranty defaults on paying.

I had considered a M3 Convertible but (being aged - 56) preferred the more conservative looking 330 (magnolia) interior etc. . Although I would have had the power of the M3 in a heartbeat if a car with the 'right' interior/exterior spec. had been around.

    Currently standard.

However, as I got a good price and it needs little other than some less naff alloys (not a fan of multispokes) I have plans to supercharge it (plus any suspension/barke upgrades to keep it on the road).

So, hopefully end up with something performing comparably to a M3 ?

many welcomes mate, there is a fella on here with a supercahrged 330. for what its worth it aint cheap to s/c a 330, by that i mean the cost of buying the 330 and s/c is comparable to buying an M3 in the first place.

Point taken about the cost of supercharging.

But then the only M3 I saw with an interior/exterior colour combination I liked was £ 7000 more than I paid for my 330
