It should be inside the airvent No. 10 i believe its the passengers side. If you have one but by sounds of things you dont have one wired in mate.

    why are you confused mate?

You know your front bumper, between your fog lights and the front grill you got airvents either side? Its well it should be in them, If you look down them you should see a black stick thing poking into the vent, I think mine was on the passengers side vent.

it sits in there like this,

    http://i41.tinypic.com/nesxgk.jpg

so when you look down the airvent you will only see the black bit because the yellow bit is where the wheelarch bit is

If you take your front bumper off, the passengers side vent will go from the hole between your fog light and centre mesh to where the blue arrow is pointing in this picture.

    http://www.modifiedm3.co.uk/five.jpg

The temp sensor is where the red arrow is pointing.

The yellow bit of the temp sensor stays out of sight where the black stick bit of the sensor goes through the air vent in the front bumper. like this

thats what you should see when you look down the airvent a black stick like that one mate.
