    hi all.
im new here so go easy
    just got myself a bm
ok its not the first ive had ,i had a e30 320i few years back sold it needed too much work doing to it.
so i pottered around for awhile in a vecca and cav.
and decided to go back to a bm,so got myself a 318 ti compact boston green.which is in very good nick given the age 1995 m plate.just a few select niggles with it thats all bit of rust back arches but its on the inside if ya know what i mean.its standard no mods to it .interior is superbly clean and tidy no marks anywhere .now from what i can gather its the m44 engine 1.9 140 bhp which has a nice tone to it .im not into modding cars that much but would like a nice air filter on it just to make it sound nicer any suggestions ?.some minor scratches here and there ive taken care of a few so far.has standard 10 spoke alloys with no marks or kerbing on them .has 126k on clock but hang on i have full service history with the car all stamped too with bmw stamps some one looked after her.and had an engine exchange at 50k buy bmw specialists at aberdeen(all documented),so essentially im at 76k on this engine.ive had a good-ish check on things all good tires are like nearly new and all the same too.all electrics work fine all lights too heater ,wipers all good .i will up some pics soon as.but i need to ask some questions .the guy whom i bought it from and he was a sound fella too.but he told me it was the se version but im not sure on diffrences on them if some one could enlighten me on what i should have on a se version.
    thankx guys

    Welcome Duckst3r,

So the guys telling you it's a 318tise? Or is the se representing a particular upgrade package on the ti?

Does it appear to have any added extra's like heated leather seats, air con etc?

    thanks for the welcome guys

any quickly on to the bm.it did say in the advert 318 ti se.
but im not sure what the se would have over a standard one ive looked on a couple of sites and it dosent really give any indication as to what it should have.
btw theres no heated seats,no air con mind you i havent looked for a switch .it does have electric windows.and wing mirrors, and sunroof, plus 3 spoke leather steering wheel and gear selector its and auto too which has the switch sports ,economy, manual mode.v5 is not with me yet i only bought it last week so carnt check against it.
all the bumpers ,side skirts ,wing mirror covers are colour coded.
and im sure standard ones dont have the 1.9 m44 engine.correct me if im wrong
ohh and id defo like to change the interior while its perfect its well awfull check sort of nastyness.
any way as for price i paid £900 which after looking around a simliar models and spec is a bargain.

    btw A2O RYM
your bm is a nice ride dood ,just the rims are way too big .just my opinion dood otherwise stunning

Thanks Duckst3r, I don't take offence to critique... everyone is entitled to their opinion and you worded yours just fine.

I used to have 19's but when I discovered I could get 20's to fit I just had to do it.

£900 that's a bargain and a half... I'd be well happy if I could pick up a compact for that price

What does it say the model is in the Log book? that will be the correct model, whatever it says on the V5

£900 is a bargain as well!
