Hello all. Newbie here. Chose the name tux as I resemble a fat penguin! Well the fat bit is true enough.
Currently rolling a Porsche 924 but fancy an extra toy with a bit more oomph for the track and the 'ring. I'm thinking an E36 325 or 328 coupe fits the bill and seem to be in the right sort of price range so thats what I'm looking for. Was pleasantly surprised at insurance costs too!

Alright Tux - Don't bother with the 325 Bud, just get a 328.. Having had both, I wouldn;t choose the 325 again! As you're only in Notts, why don't you come down to the show at Santa Pod on 20th Sept and say hello?!

OOH! Theres a show? I have a pretty "odd" work schedule during September, but I will def get down if I can.

Must admit I was leaning towards the 328 anyway. I'm led to believe they are fairly similar but the 328 has a slight edge and better fuel economy.

Plus, and most importantly for some of us, the 328 is more easily tunable than the 325.. Be good to see you at the show!
