Im 22, went from a 1.2 corsa which was 900 to insure, to a 318is which is 1300. It isnt much more if you get some quotes for a 328. I would have gone with a 328 if I'd known, I just assumed I'd get laughed at by insurance companies if i went above 1.8ltr. Apparently not.

Worth having a read through this thread mate

    http://www.bimmerforums.co.uk/forum/...all-bmw-t3199/

basically the 320,325 and 330 are all striaght sixes and the 318 is a 4 cylinder. You want a 6 cylinder if you can afford to insure it.

    Thanks

I'm insured with Churchil and have 5 years NCB with my dad on the policy. Even changing his job title from retired to company director made £200 difference. Also the area I insured it at ie my parents house or my house made over £300 of difference. My advice would be spend a day playing with all the parameters (obviously don't lie and void your insurace) it saved me hundreds.

I'm here for a good time not a long time
