    Hi All,

    Newbie to the site here.

    I currently own a 320D E90.

Just got the car serviced recently from BMW and they informed me the Sump has a crack in it.

Car was parked outside the house for a week without driving it as I've been away, and I've now noticed a patch of fresh looking oil on the road where the engine bay way.

Had a quote from BMW and they've quoted me £700 to fix this. I'm planning on keeping this car for quite a while, so not too concerned with the BMW stamps in my service book.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a good garage in the South West London area (Wimbledon or surrounding areas) that are reasonably priced, trustworthy and reliable?

    Thanks,
    Nij

    Welcome to the forum!

I would buy a secondhand sump from Quarry Motors (just google them and mention bimmerforums for a discount and free P&P) and get an indy to fit it.

It can be done with the engine in situ, they just need to lift it off the engine mounts a little
