Hi Guys, i'm Jon and i'll be living in Basingstoke as of the 1st July.

    This is my motor

It's a 1992 318iS (M42), just ticked up over 190k. So far it's had the wheels done, front bumper, suspension, brakes, sports leather, exhaust, induction and a few other bits that i can't remember off the top of my head.

Hope you like and i look forward to chatting with everyone

    Cheers

    Jon

Welcome to the forum, my old e36 had 180,000 on her when sold to a local garage, the lady there said "we'll have that here for months with that milage", i disagreed and 1 week later was gone!..the engine still drove and sounded like new!

Sounds about right. People are waking up to the fact that providing an e36 engine hasn't died from Nikasil wear (323's and 328's) they are bullet proof. There's a guy on another forum i'm on with over 300k on the clock lol

@gap - the car was clean in those pics, just done in fact. Today on the other hand, it's covered in cr*p. Cheers for the comments, always nice to hear good things about the car.

I've been thinking about what i've actually done to it / had done to it so thought id put it in, here goes.

M3 rep front bumper with evo lip spoiler
    6000k HID's with Gen 1 CCFL's
    17" MV2 wheels with tyres
    Supersport suspersion 40/30
Black Diamond discs all round with EBC green stuff pads
Sony head unit (being replaced soon) + 6x9 conversion
328 Sport black leather interior (parcel shelf still to go in)
AC Schnitzer ltd edition gear nob, ACS hand brake, ACS carbon dial surrounds
    Short Shift gear lever
Custom leather covered arm rest (by bespoke leathering)
    Scorpion STW cat back exhaust
    GruppeM rep induction kit
    Black and White emblems
Lot's and lots of time, polish and wax
Replaced exhaust manifold, re-built ecu (drowned the first one)

    Couple of bits in the pipeline prior to Gaydon hopefully;
Re-spray drivers door after it got keyed - 3rd July
Kenwood flip screen head unit, some new 6x9's and component speakers
Parcel shelf and rear headrests still to go in.
M3 rear bumper and diffuser to stop my exhaust sticking out so much
18" CSL's or LM's (i know, common as muck but i love them)
    More wax lol.

Then it'll be finished and i expect ill get a new car, i love my iS but i know it'll happen

Cheers for reading, any comments are welcome.
