    Afternoon all,

Thought I'd join up here as I'll be looking for some parts and ideas for my E90 that I've been enjoying for the past couple of months.

The 3 series marks a bit of a departure from the toys I've had in the past, mk1 MX5, DC2 Integra, Classic Impreza Turbo but I've just become a dad and I wanted something safer and more economical as a baby carriage.

Apologies for the crap iPod pic. I've never had the car clean enough to warrant taking photos of it.

It's brilliant to be back in RWD again, even if it doesn't have a diff... yet.

So far I've been delighted with the purchase. It has been economical (I've seen well over 50mpg on the computer on long runs), fun (I'm taking delight in destroying the cheap tyres the previous owner fitted on the rear) and fast however it's getting the DMS treatment in the next couple of weeks. As ever, moving onto a new marque requires new research to find out who makes the best bits and where they can be bought from.

I'll look forward to learning a bit more over the coming weeks.

In the meantime, anyone sourced an LSD for a E90? Who does decent brake pads?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks afcneal.

I prefer a more aggressive pad that will withstand higher temps. Mintex 1144s are always a reasonable choice. I'll have a look and see.
