    Hi guys,

i just bought a 2004 525D SE Auto beamer, I had to buy it after i drove it. This will be my 9th BM over the years. I keep buying other Marques but I always end up back with BMW.

    Thanks for the welcome replies.

    I have had:

    1989 E30 318i SE
    1989 E30 325i SE Auto
    1991 E34 525i SE
    1994 E36 318i SE
    1993 E36 320i SECoupe
    1994 E38 740i Auto
    1994 E36 325i SE
    2001 E46 330i Sport
    2000 Z3 2.0i SE

I have done most of my own maintenance, things like replacing rocker cover gaskets and general servicing. I guess the main reason I keep going back to BMW is because it is so easy to find information on them, I know most of the people in my local dealership service and parts departments.

    Good choice

Was it all in that order? I presume so , which was your favourite and least favourite of the lot?

My favourite was the 330i closely followed by the Z3, I almost needed a second mortgage to run the 740i. The are all truely great cars, in fact they are the reason for my enthusiasm today. I havent collected my new car yet, I should get it on Friday cash in the bank permitting.

    RedAdair,

I live near Stirling, where are you from?
