    hi, I'm new!
I bought a 518i bmw after wreking my pride and joy nissan skyline gtst ..I had to take it into a field or t-bone a elderly driver who pulled out at the last second!
I bought the 5 series as a temporary car while I waited for insurance to pay up...eventualy they did but I grew to like the old BM so decided to keep my money and the BM its pretty slow but does the job! I have got into karting so dont feel I need a sporty road car at the mo as I get all my thrills at the track now. I have fitted a removable bmw towbar to the e34 but cant wire it up :( which is my next problem!

its not that bad I did very well out of the insurance company and the money funded towards my wedding last year and at the mo Karting. I've grown out of jap crap now I'm a BMW man ..lol
At one point last year I did consider putting the 2.5 RB turbo engine from the liner into the e34....thought about how much work was involved then forgot about it! But it would of been pretty kool ...would of kept the 518 badge onthe back for giggles!

yep insurance is group 20! there is no difference between GTR or GTST I was paying 600 for third party fire and theft, fully cmp was over 800 this is with 10 year no claims. The best insurance company for a skyline is A-plan, claiming was a bit of a muddle but I got 100% in my favour in the end and a coutesy car for 44 days...the delays were mainly down to the old biddy not admiting it was her fault! When the 2 insurance companies realised they had the same legal company working on the case they soon paid up!! I had a new passat for a coutesy car it was costing 80 quid a day!! I bet her premium has gone up this year!!

If you ever get a skyline dont call it a liner...for some reason skyline owners don't like it
