    Hi all,
Just wanted to say hello and a big thank you to all those responsible for this forum
I recently picked up my first BMW and I must say I'm chuffed to bits with it! It only has 48k miles and is in immaculate condition and 11 years young.. its drives beautifully
It really is the nicest car to drive I've owned!

I intend keeping it a long time and originally planned to get it converted to lpg but the mpg seems so good on petrol I'm having second thoughts!

I do a lot of track days in my fun car (an old skyline GTR with lots of power) but want to try my new BMW on track and have been thinking of changing the diff so it will drift better.. not sure what my options are for this but I guess if I search enough the info will be here somewhere.

I also need to find a decent garage in south east London for servicing etc so if anyone has any recommendations please let me know.

    Cheers all,
    Sam

sounds like a nice car But as I am sure you are aware these need a lot of stiffening before going on a track. I have h+R anti roll bars and a strut brace on mine and its still a bit rolly for track use and without these it would be hairy indeed.

    Martyn thank you

Rm1 yes I know it'll be too soft to be good on track but I'm not bothered about going quickly just about having fun. I'll take a look at your specs tho thanks

If anyone knows a good garage in south east London please shout up! Finding some of the independents are just as expensive as BMW main dealers....

    Cheers
