Hi everyone, Ive just bought my 1st BMW, I went for the 1995/6 E36 328i Saloon
I love the car, I love the way it looks (apart from the wheels which I will be spraying black asap) I love the way it handles (lowered 30mm) and I love the power/sound of that big ol' 2.8 straight six under the bonnet
It does have a few issuses, as with almost every 15 year old car, but seems to be a nice tight example (compared to some of the test drives i had earlier that day!) it has full service history so im not too bothered about the 141K on the clock, new gearbox/clutch 20k ago, Every MOT apart from one, new brakes all round, new rear shocks, MOT till november, 1 years road tax, and one new owner that cant stop driving it
Anyways, now that ive said hello, you can expect to be seeing a lot more of me around here

    Welcome to bimmerforums mate.

Great engine those 328s. Love the smooth torque delivery.

We're a good bunch here, and there's loads to learn.

Well yeah, its a nicer car alround, apart from i love the rush of a tuned MR2 Turbo (my friend has a non road going race spec MR2 Turbo which is awesome and i love having a go on track with that).

Buy the way you are loving the power of the 328 i guess you had a normally aspirated.

    Hopefully he re-imbursed you.....!!!!!

Hopefully you wont be lending your car out to friends again. Hard lesson learnt.

    Welcome to the club!

I got my 328 just over 2 weeks a go and I love it!

The more you use it the more you really appreciate it, I still keep finding little things to, only yesterday I figured out how to move the front cushion thing on the seats, it's like driving in my living room sofa now, lol!
