Hello, Im Derek, a new user, from Dundee. I have a 2001 X5 4.4i, my first BMW and have had it for around 8 months. The LPG conversion certainly helps.

Here is my reason for posting in the hope I can get some kind help from those of you who have experience in these cars. I appologise if this has been asked many times before.

I have the factory fitted standard Analogue TV/Radio/Tape with Sat Nav in the boot section, however the area where I live no longer has Analogue signal, only Digital. I basically want to know what the easiest and cheapest way is to get digital freeview channels and DAB radio channels through my TV. Is there simply a tuner I can buy and plug in or is it a bit less straight forward than that and do you reccomend any specific models/makes. I would also like the TV to be available on the move for passengers however am unsure if there is an override facility for this. Any suggestions will be most welcome, thanks.

    Welcome to the forum Derek
You'd be better making a new thread and posting it in the auto-electrical forum (HERE) for a quicker response to your problem.
