Hi, just thought I'd take a minute to introduce my self, Im Shane from Guildford, Surrey. Ive recently bought myself a '96 E36 328 coupe and after only a couple of days of checking out this forum, ive decided to join. The knowledge that I have already aquired from here is amazing!! Ive always been an admirer of bmw's, well all german makes really. I think the build quality speaks for itself. Ive owned a '74 volkswagen camper (couldnt fault it) and a E36 316 amongst others in the past, but I couldnt be happier with my latest purchase. It needs a bit of work to bring it up to the standard of most the cars I've seen on here, but I picked it up cheap so over the next few months/years I will gradually be making a few changes here and there to enhance what is already a nice car.
    Anyways, HELLO.

p.s.- Do i need a photobucket account to post piccies on this forum?

    Welcome to the forum Shane...

You dont need a photobucket account, but it allows you to display the images full size. Otherwise you can use the manage attachments button when you post a reply...

Hi and welcome to the forum ozyshane

As both the moderators have said you dont need a photobucket account BUT it makes your life a lot easier if you do, its free too!

Here is a guide wrote by Rym on how to upload photos from your photobucket account onto your posts

NB The guide will make sense when you have a photobucket account lol

As you guys should see, I have a piccy of my 328 in my signature. It dont look to bad in the pic but theres a few small spots of rust (usual places,ie wheel arches etc) Ive managed to repair 1 arch, just needs t-cut and polish (bloody weather) and will tackle the rest when the sun decides to stick around for a while. Alloys have been neglegted and will need a full refurb (I might try to fit 18"s) and theres a couple of small cracks in the bumpers. Im hoping I can fix these using some epoxy resin, then repaint. Other than that, shes a pretty solid car. Its been lowered, although im unsure how much, has a K&N induction kit, full leather interior which is in cracking condition other than some wear on the drivers seat. I will in time get some more piccies up, but will get busy doing the repairs that need doing first.

** anyone want to take a guess from the pic as to how much its been lowered and wether you think I will get 18"s under the arches?? **
