    Hello Bimmerforums members!

I am new to this forum, I came on here to get help with the first real problem I've had with my BMW, I have owned for just over a year now.

    She is my BABY!

I used to have a VW polo before her as my first car, so a VERY big step up!

You can see her below in my signature!

Looks low on the back from your signature, either that or it's got the usual broken rear road springs, common on e46's

Im hoping it has been lowered now, I never noticed anything wrong with the springs when I first bought it and have never had any probs with them.

Whats the best way to check them?

Hi and welcome. The rear suspension looks fine to me, I have the 330 M Sport convertible and it sits at a very similar height to yours. I had mine checked over before i purchased it and there was nothing wrong with it. If it doubt just take it into kwik fit for a "QUOTE", they will stick it on the ramp and check it without charging you. I've never done this myself but i know a few people who have taken cars into them before buying them just to have a look under their motors.
