rust and knackered suspension are the main things. Also make sure it idles nicely and doesn't overheat.

Check the history, if it has been self serviced make sure that proper OEM or equivalent parts have been used and not the cheap ECP parts. These cars like the good stuff and will thank you for it. Also, maybe a little paranoid but if you can get underneath it check for hairline cracks on the diff carrier mountings. But generally get something that has been well serviced. Just my 2p worth

Ino its an old thread now but finally got the 325 m sport
Obviously from pics you can see its standard atm, but i want to lower it in the new year on springs, preferably eibachs.

Anyone done this and got pics? and how much has it been lowered. Im aiming to be as low as i can go without catching the arch.
Running on standard sizes currently 225/40/18 front and rear 245/35/18

    My car now below...

    Good looking car.
I bought my first ever BM a few months ago as a project (usually go for classic Mercedes).
The car is pretty much sorted now and I have also been looking at slightly newer Ci's.
It has to be said, from th pics you have uploaded, your Ci looks like a lovely vehicle - enjoy!
