    hi fellow bimmers.i have a bmw e36 316ise 1995. had it for 2 years and wondering if keys wearing down is common problem. both keys have worn really bad, broke my barrell the other week so got a new one but now finding it hard to even get into the car. Help please

    not sure if it's common or not as never heard of it happening before.. but if you need a new key - just contact your dealer and they'll order one from you.. I think they're only about £25 or so and come programmed for your immobiliser etc (if you have one).
