Hi I am currently preparing a 318ti for rallying, this is I believe a very competitive car & am surprised more people arent using them.I did a local closed to club rally test, the day after aquiring the car, in completely standard form on the last test of the day the car performed the fastest time overall, beating many fully prepared rally cars, incuding a full spec BDA escort!!!!

Cool sounds a good project. I am currently building a BMW rally car (see my thread in the projects section). When you said you beat a full spec BDA escort, how do you mean full spec? Was it to the same standard as a Jason Lepley escort?
