    Hi everyone,

Just thought i'd sign up to bimmerforums, as the only forum i've been on for the past 2 years is e30zone! I have just recently parted with my lazur blue e30 318iS, which was a pleasure to own. Heres a few pics of how it was when i bought it, and the work i carried out:

I'm now on the market for an e46 325Ci or 330Ci M-Sport. Finding it very hard to find a decent example at the right price, however!

Welcome, that's a lovely E30! Should have kept it as a track slag! 330 all the way for the replacement

Err me too, second car I wrote off was a E36 318is, err then a E36 328 sport.... The E36's weren't my fault, but the E30 was down to me in a big way!

Thanks guys! Nice to see appreciation for my old motor, and Ian/Tobias - e30 backends are lethal aren't they?!

Im stuck between a e46 330 or a e36 328i sport now, how much do you guys think i should pay for a good example of a late e36 328i sport...

Any things in particular i should look out for when buying or going to view one of these...?

    Thanks
    Ajay

    E36 328 sport, probably £2500-3000. Have you considered a E36 M3?

The E46 is a much better car and is the obvious choice but I still prefer the E36. To be fair I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

My brother has just got rid of his E30 318is for a E46 330... I couldn't tempt him to the ways of the E36.

YES I've never driven a car that would fishtail down the road like the E30 318is

I always wanted a 328i Sport especially after my friend bought a pristine example and flauted it at me everytime he saw my 323. That said I do really like the E46 330. I was so close to buying one for years but wanted to clear some debt first. I think the E46 shape is the nicest of all the 3's including the current model and the 3l engine as standard in the 330 surpasses the 328's by a mile IMO. It's also loaded with all creature comforts and has many technological advances over the E36 ie corner braking etc
That said I did love owning my E36 infact I kept it for approx 9 years and enjoyed every mile in her and mine was only the detuned 2.5 (323i M52).
