    Hi

Name's Paul from Derby - been here a while as I had a 94 325i project I was looking to use for a kit car a while back.

Anyway I bought this Le Mans Blue E93 325i at the back end of last year from Soper's in Lincoln. It wasn't perfect but it was well priced and in good colour/interior combo.

I've changed wheels to 194Ms as the original 225Ms had already been welded and still had cracks - yet to raise this with dealer

The 194Ms were in a very sorry state - I got 4 for £200 to start with but 2 were scrap with huge chunks missing. Then spent a while looking for replacements. Finally got 4 together and took them to Paul at 1st Class in Lichfield following recommendations on here. He did a top job - masked the hubs even - and the powdercoat finish is absolutely faultless. Then I got some Falken 452s from camskill - 4 were less than 1 rear runflat on the 225Ms !!! Got M Sport stickers from local dealer and on they went. I got the tyres fitted by local ATS - one rear has taken a lot of balancing weights, it balanced ok and feels alright but I may keep looking for another one.

Pleased to say it's now like a different car, ride is now brilliant, it's a lot quieter and steering seems to have improved vastly. Replacement tyres will be a lot cheaper to boot. My lower back will thank me forever, I mean I know 19s are cool but so is smoking and look how bad that is for you.

Also put on my private plate my wifey bought me for my 40th bless her - yes I know I'll look like a 5 fingered shuffler but at my age what the hay

Next I plan on getting a couple of dings sorted and then I may take out the aliminium interior and have it carbon wrapped.

Anyway this thread is worthless without pics as they say - hope you like !!
