    Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, have dabbled in the BMW world before with a 330Ci M Sport which had an awful SMG gearbox that never worked properly..

So I moved to Lotus and now I need to save on some costs, so....

I am looking to buy an E36 M3, as original as possible, and am trying to organise a viewing of the following car:

    http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/959298.htm

Does anyone know this car, or is there anything I should be aware of when viewing it (I've read the extremely useful buying guide on here)?

Could there be cambelt issues with it having 126k miles on the clock etc?

    Many thanks in advance..

    Welcome to the site

They are chain-driven so no cambelt to worry about

Ah thank you! (and thinking about this I had heard that before...) - sorry for my ignorance there.

I guess with the M3s it's luck of the draw... A lot of them will have been ragged so I'm looking for one that looks the least "modded".

    Fingers crossed I don't get a wrongun
