    Hello All,

Just introducing myself. My name is Andy and I am the proud owner of a 1999 BMW 328i E36 Touring.

As you can see from the pictures the car is in need of a little attention, especially around the front bodywork areas.

She's a beauty though and runs superbly.

I have a new front nearside wing arriving this week which I shall be fitting next weekend so any tips would be welcome. Will then need a bonnet, front grill and headlamp surrounding plate (not sure of the correct terminology!)

I need to find out what the exact colour is of the car...where do I find it?!

I am a keen photographer and live in Appleby Magna so if anyone wants any photos doing and you're not too far away, let me know...love all things BMW!!

Let me know what you think of my baby!!

    Cheers

    Andy

Hello there and welcome to the site... I have not been a member long either and this is a graet site for info/ advice and general discussion. The paint code should be indicated on a plate/label right side strut tower also along with the correct colour name. I had the same issue with the grille holder and as a result replaced mine with an unmarked identical one off a donor car. I have a similar issue with my bonnet, this is to be replaced or repaired as and when finances allow. A particular place to look out for are the bottom of the rear arches and front wings tent to bubble. A great car and bullet proof .

    Hi,
    Thanks for the info.
Yeah, my front passenger wing is completely shot and wont pass it's MOT as it is :( Like you, I'll have to wait until finances allow for a new bonnet, especially if I need to get it sprayed up.

Re the grille holder...was it easy to fit?

    Andy
